On June 10, 2025, DJI unveiled the Matrice 400 (M400), a flagship enterprise drone engineered to transform agricultural operations with unmatched endurance, payload flexibility, and intelligent features. Boasting a 59-minute flight time and a 6 kg payload capacity, the M400 supports up to seven simultaneous payloads, including the Zenmuse H30T, L2, and P1, making it ideal for precision agriculture tasks like crop monitoring, multispectral mapping, and aerial surveying.
Its advanced obstacle sensing system, featuring 360° rotating LiDAR, six-directional mmWave radar, and full-color fisheye vision, detects objects as small as 21.6mm power lines up to 35m away, ensuring safe navigation in complex farm environments. The O4 Enterprise Enhanced Transmission System delivers a 40 km range, with sub-2G band support and dual 4G dongles for reliable connectivity in remote fields. The
M400’s Real-Time Terrain Follow and Smart Detection capabilities, paired with DJI Terra and FlightHub 2, enable automated flight paths and high-precision data collection for variable rate spraying and fertilization.
