Custom Thinking, Faster Flying: AgDrone.au’s 3D Design Edge
Sick of wasting time wrestling elastic straps and watching plastic buckles explode the moment they hit the ute tray? So were we. That’s why our R&D guy Dylan designed a dead-simple 3D-printed prop holder that snaps the folded blades rock-solid against the motor in two seconds – no straps, no swearing, no lost parts.
That’s AgDrone.au in a nutshell: spot a paddock pain, fix it overnight with tough custom-printed parts. Quick-release battery cradles, magnetic tool trays, drip-proof nozzle plates… and now the brand-new AgDrone T50 Flexible Front Spray Lance Shell Set.
The factory DJI T50 front lance shells are notoriously brittle – one solid knock on a fence post or a branch and they’re in pieces. We got tired of that too. So we built our own replacement set out of super-durable flexible TPU. It’s built tougher than the OEM shells, flexes instead of snapping, and fits perfectly with all the original T50 spray lance components. Drop it, bash it, run it over – it just keeps working.
We’ve been hacking and improving since the old T20 days (remember cutting the tank top off and gluing on a hungry board?). Now it’s precision overnight manufacturing instead of duct tape.
Latest win: the Australian-made AgDrone Mixing System. A batching station that mixes, agitates and pumps straight into the T100’s 100 L tank while the next load is already spinning. Three switches, zero drama. Starts at 300 L, scales to 600, 900 or 1200 L for the big acres.
Want to see a T100 swap props without a single curse, a T50 keep spraying after the shells would normally be toast, or watch a refill fast enough to smash world-record flight times? Come watch one rip in Tamworth or Mareeba – we love showing gear that actually works.
