Agras spraying a crop at sunrise

    Built for spraying

Your RePL is how you deal with CASA. It lets you contract the work out and employ other pilots. From the same licence you add the next endorsement and run the operation.

    • One booking, not two. Most RePL courses stop at the licence. This one includes the Agras type rating and the AROC.
    • Three days, then done. Theory and flying in one block, so you're back on the farm by the end of the week.
    • Trained on the Agras, at the AgDrone location that services your drone. The drone is provided.
    • Legal for the first spray. On your own land you need the RePL and the type rating. We point you to your state's chemical licence.

    Who it's for

    • Farmers spraying their own land with an Agras
    • Operators who contract the work out, or employ other pilots
    • Staff pilots for farms and land managers

Already hold a RePL? The one-day type rating upgrade is $1,800.

    Good to know

    • The ReOC is the business certificate when the company is paid to fly. It sits with the RePL. It does not replace it. Tick it on the booking, or book it on its own. It is done online.
    • Spraying chemicals also needs a chemical licence from your state. We'll send the right regulator for where you farm.
    • T100 type rating is added when CASA releases it. The current rating is model-restricted, up to 150 kg.

    Questions

Do I need any flying experience?

No. The course starts from the beginning, with theory first and then flying with an instructor.

How long until I get my licence?

Normally within 24 to 48 hours of passing. CASA issues it. It covers a 7 kg multi-rotor plus the Agras type rating you trained on. Once it's issued, it doesn't expire.

Do I need a ReOC as well?

Only if you'll be paid to fly. Spraying your own land needs the RePL and the type rating. Tick ReOC on its own if you are not booking a course. It is done online.

I already have a RePL. Do I need the full course?

No. Book the one-day Agras type rating upgrade, $1,800.

Can you train my staff together?

Yes. Set how many people are coming. Five or more is 10% off, and we travel out to the property. You still pick a location and a date.

Do I need a chemical licence too?

Yes, if you'll spray chemicals. Your state issues it. We'll send the right links for where you farm.
